ATTENTION FAPE CONFERENCE REGISTRANTS

The purpose of this correspondence is to advise you that FAPE is canceling the 2009 Florida Association of Partners in Education Conference due to changes in Government regulations and matters dictated by state and local governments which are beyond our control.

The school districts of Florida advised FAPE of their inability to authorize their faculty, administration and other staff to attend the conference due to budget cuts imposed by the Florida Legislature. Additional budget cuts are expected to be imposed by the Legislature requiring limitations placed on travel by local school boards for school personnel.
